What else says Happy Independence Day than a flag? I found a great idea for a red, white and blue cake on http://www.makeit-loveit.com/ and just had to try it out. The cake was extremely moist, not difficult and turned into a holiday tradition. It was a big surprise when you cut into it and it didn't have to look perfect!I learned to lay out the eggs for 30-60 minutes before making a cake because it will be better to mix them into the batter and will make them much more moist.
